The altitude is not really high, but the weather was cold and rainy 😬

It started to rain horribly, and we seeked shelter

It started to rain horribly, and we seeked shelter under a roof. Sadly I don't have a picture that shows it properly, but it hailed and rained like crazy, the roads got flooded, and it was clear, that we will have a problem to continue or pitch a tent somewhere. A very nice woman offered us, to take us home for the night, after we were standing together under that little roof for around 1.5 hours.

The next day, we took the Transfaragarsan road, and even saw 5 bears 🐻😃
(Also no pictures, you need to wait for the videos, but the laptop is without power...)
The view on the pass was not that good though 🤪

After rain comes sunshine and hopefully no bears 😂😃

Suddenly the weather turned really bad, first we tried to hide in the forest (where I found some cantarella, haha) but then we decided to continue a bit and look for a campsite that is not totally soaked.

We got the tip for that spot from @on.and.off.adventures

We are on the northern TET, and passed really nice hilly areas, beautiful towns, with many cool looking churches and monasteries.
People are super friendly (they even call back their pony sized dogs so the don't eat us alive 🤣🤪) and beer is cheap 😉

We are exited to see more of this beautiful country 😃😃

This time we left the main road in Antofagasta de la Sierra, and went over the mountains to Antofalla (a little town with around 40 people living there)

From there we took the anarchy route (many tracks, just pick a good one) to Mina La Casualidad und Mina Julia, before we went another shortcut to Cono de Arita, a beautiful volcano.
